Each cruise is customized to suit your needs and preferences.  We provide the expertise in planning and help you to select the best cruise value.  Be as creative as you like – we can do it!  We negotiate all of the amenities.  If you wish, we can create a cruise package that includes all costs; i.e., cruise accommodations, transportation to and from the port, gratuities, baggage handling and even shore excursions.  We can arrange special activities within the cruise, such as Sea Aerobics for prizes with one of your organization’s leaders as Aerobics Leader; Negotiated Split of a “Bingo” Night at Sea aboard ship, open to all passengers.  We create a cruise that helps you to raise the highest possible amount for your organization’s programs.

THE PROFIT PICTURE

Cruise Connection & Tours is prepared to donate to your organization, from revenue generated, an amount based on the number of cruise passengers, the length of the cruise, total cost of the cruise, and the value of amenities provided.  Each fund-raising cruise is uniquely designed to suit an organization’s needs.

Here are just a few examples of fund-raising cruise profit potentials.

(1)               Book 100 Cabins (200 Cruisers) x $100 per Cabin = $10,000 for your organization! 

In this situation, we would donate $100 per cabin when you book a minimum of 25 cabins.  If you book less than 25 cabins, we would pro-rate our donation to a pre-determined amount based on the number of passengers.

(2)               Receive 5% of Net Ticket Price (less Port and other charges); @ $800pp (average cruise cost) = $40pp.  If 100 people cruise, your organization would earn $4000; with 200 passengers, we would pay you $8400 – a $400 bonus!

(3)               Receive a donation of $1,000 per busload of cruisers (based on a 55 passenger bus); this arrangement is sometimes employed for 3 or 4 day cruises.

(4)               Earn on an ascending scale, based on number of passengers; i.e., $25pp up to 20 passengers; $35pp from 21 to 30 passengers; $50pp from 31 passengers and upward.

(5)               Receive complimentary Cabins.  Some organizations request a complimentary cabin for the Group Leader(s).  If you receive a comp. Cabin, we would adjust your donation to reflect the amount that we pay for the comp cabin.  Cruise lines don’t usually provide up-front cabins.  We can sometimes negotiate a reduced rate cabin or even a Group Leader Cabin; however, this policy varies among cruise lines and are subject to negotiation.  We provide your group with a private on-board cocktail party with a minimum of 16 passengers.

Since each organization has unique structures and fund-raising goals, we develop the cruise program that best suits your needs and provide you with a contract that details each element that we have agreed upon for the final program.

HOW DO WE DO IT ?

Most people are aware that the cruise lines provide incentives to agents for booking groups and organization by granting “free” berths.  These are called Tour Conductor Berths and form the basis for our fund-raising revenue.  We have made it a practice to provide organizations with the opportunity to earn money for their various causes by donating a portion of Tour Conductor revenue (or “bonus” profits).  We feel that by sharing our profits with those involved in programs that benefit our communities, we are contributing to the strengthening of America at the “grass roots” level – which is where it should begin.

Cruise Connection & Tours is dedicated to providing you with the very best service and value in the Cruise Vacation industry.  We are happy to work with you and your organization to assist in raising funds for any worthy cause.

If your organization is interested in forming a group to cruise just for fun, we will be happy to allow you a major portion of the value of the Tour Conductor Berths in order to provide your membership with an overall price reduction for their cruise.  This is our way of saying “Thank You for choosing to cruise with us”.  In this instance, we promote the cruise at the rates obtained from the cruise line and accept deposits until the final deposit date.  At that time we calculate the value of our bonus profits, based on the total number of people booked on the cruise, and divide the amount among the members equally for a savings to all passengers.  This would be extended either as a cash discount, or, in the case of credit card payments, in the form of a rebate.
